I love making these bags. This one is lined in pink with a zippered pocket and 8 credit card slots.
It also has a vinyl piece on the bottom of the bag. The design is from Parker on the Porch. I love their designs and they all stitch out beautifully.

Clutch ........
Wow!!! I really love these clutch bags and don't know why it took me so long to make one. Love the fabric as well. I also added 8 credit card slots on the inside of the larger bag. The design for the clutch 2.0 is from Parker on the Porch and the instructions are very easy to follow. Both bags were made on the embroidery machine and once the bags are turned there was only about a 3 inch gap to slipped stitched together. The bag is fully lined with no seams showing.....

Lovely Ladies........
How gorgeous are these Embroidery Designs. I had to use my big hoop for these and I had to sit and hold the bag so it wouldn't get caught in the hoop. There is another one which is of course Paris and I have already given this one away , but I do intend doing another one. The bags are like a canvas and that was perfect as there are quite a few stitches in the design. The designs come from Embroideries. Lots of lovely designs on that sight.

Craft Bag.....
Trying to use up some of the fabric that I have in the cupboard. I found this and decided I had to make something with it. I made myself a bag to keep my wool in for the current project and thought that this would make an adorable bag. The bag is small enough and easy to handle so it would be perfect for anyone to pick up and take your craft with you. I love this fabric and the vibrancy of the colours.

Zebra Bags........
Since we will not be using plastic bags from the big chain stores after Christmas. I decided to give the females in the family a tote bag with this gorgeous Zebra design on it. It was a free design and I am not sure where I got it from. They look so pretty all done in different colours. The bags are from Target and they have a design on the other side. At first I was going to try and cover the design but then I thought why not just put the design on the other side and that way I am not so limited with what design I can use.. The bags are strong enough to hold groceries. I really love the way this design turned out.. I found the design here but you have to join the site to be able to download.

Jogger Bags......
I love making these bags from Disorderly Threads. Although I thought they would be a bit bigger as I bought the biggest design as I now have the large hoop. I used the shinny vinyl for the shoe and found it very easy to work with. I made these bags for my two youngest grandsons Thomas and Cooper. I keep thinking I will run out of things to make now the boys are getting older but I always manage to find something. I am also practicing a bit of Photoshop as well using the Sparkler overlays.

Sew-a-Long Bag..............
Last month I did a Sew-a-Long with Sweet Pea Designs. There were 6 blocks embroidered on the Embroidery Machine, and the rest of the bag was put together using a sewing machine. It was a quick and easy project and I really loved it, so I am keeping it for myself to take my sewing supplies to craft classes. I usually give the things away that I make but now this one. Sweet Pea Designs have some wonderful embroidery designs with very clear instructions. It is also an Australian Company based in Brisbane.

Challenge Time Again !!!!!!
Every year we do a challenge set by Carol the lady who runs our Patchwork group. This year she gave us a Patchwork Square that she had made and we had to make something with it. The square is in picture one and I put the purple around it. I decided to make this cute little bag. I always try to do something different as I can't see the point in making the same thing over and over again. I found the pattern here ( crazy mom quilts) and the directions were very easy to follow. It is really a surprise when you unzip the bag to find three little zippered compartments inside. By the way I got 2nd place and won a $25.00 voucher to spend on fabric. Lucky me.

Decorated Hessian Bags..........
I have seen so many different ideas for decorating the hessian bags from Woolworths. Here are a couple of ideas I have come up with using some of those doilies that we have in our cupboards. I made the Rose on my Embroidery Machine and the design is from Embroidery Garden. The design uses the single petals that are bought in packets of a couple of hundred, and then you just lay them out in a circle and sew around on the bottom edge of the petals, starting from the outside working towards the centre. Covering the petals with some sovly helps with the stitching and stops the petals getting caught up. I stiffened the doily and then stitched it on the bag around the edge and then hot glued the rose on. I also used some old costume jewellery that I had for the centre of the rose.
