Roses and Skulls !!!!

I had this fabric and didn't know what to make out of it.  I thought this little bag would be perfect and I love the way it turned out,   It is fully lined and has a zip pocket and slots for credit cards on the inside. It is also lined in black.   It was made In the Hoop on my Embroidery Machine  and the design is from Parker on the Porch.  Very quick to make and easy directions to follow.  It is called the Seaside Clutch.

Skull Bag......

I love making these bags.  This one is lined in pink with a zippered pocket and 8  credit card slots.
It also has a vinyl piece on the bottom of the bag.  The design is from Parker on the Porch.   I love their designs and they all stitch out beautifully.

Cute Little Hand Towels ........

These are so cute. Hand towels to hang on your stove front.  I used velcro instead of buttons and buttonholes on the back.  It makes it a lot easier than fumbling with buttonholes.   The design is from Embroidery Weekly.  The pieces  are made In the Hoop on the Embroidery Machine and then sewn together on the regular sewing machine.   Very easy directions and photos to show you each step.

Note Book Covers....

Love making these Note Book Covers, so easy and quick. The Design is from Kreative Kiwi and the instruction are very easy to read and understand.  Made completely in the hoop with no hand sewing at all, just what I love, no hand sewing. A couple more Christmas presents out of the way.

Flowers ....

Over the Christmas Patchwork Break someone suggested that we make these flowers and swap them on our first day back at patchwork so that everyone ended up with one flower from each person.  We also had to put our name and year on it too.  I managed to get mine all done but as I am not into hand work the lady that runs the Patchwork Group also has an Embroidery Machine so she had the digitized which made it a bit easier for me.   So now we have to make all the flowers into something for judging in a few months time.  Will have to get my thinking cap on for that.

Aprons for Folk Dance Group.......

After a very stressful 2018 I have decided it is time to try and get back to normal or as close as I can in 2019.   I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and with the operation over, I have started Chemo.
I made 12 Aprons for the Folk Dance group that I belong to. I was so pleased that I was able to do this for them as they are such a lovely bunch of ladies.  The Tulip was done on the embroidery machine and I then made up the aprons.  The sad part was that I never got to wear the aprons, maybe down the track I will.

Oven Mitts...

I was asked to make some oven mitts.  I found a design to make on my Embroidery Machine and they were very simple to make and the quilting was perfect.  There was only one problem, turning the mitt to the right side.  The thumb was so thick from the Batting and the  Insul - Bright it made it very difficult to turn.  After much prodding and pulling I managed to get them the right way.  I don't think I will be making any more for a while.
