Fringe Cowl.....
This is another free pattern from IBER flux. Again I didn't have a model but you can get the idea of how it should look. It falls into a beautiful cowl. Very quick and easy to make. I had enough wool to make two, so my sisters will be getting one each.

Crochet Rug for my Daughter......
Something girly this time. While I was in Bowen looking after my Daughter for 3 months as she was recovering from Thyroid Cancer, I made her this rug. I ran out of wool and a lovely lady from New Zealand sent me a couple of balls. I also did the pattern in three different colours just to make it a bit bigger. The pattern is called the Virus Blanket and the directions are very easy to follow.

Craft Bag.....
Trying to use up some of the fabric that I have in the cupboard. I found this and decided I had to make something with it. I made myself a bag to keep my wool in for the current project and thought that this would make an adorable bag. The bag is small enough and easy to handle so it would be perfect for anyone to pick up and take your craft with you. I love this fabric and the vibrancy of the colours.

Log Cabin Blanket..........
Finally finished this Log Cabin Blanket. It had been sitting there with just the last row to do. It was a reverse single crochet and as I had never done this before I kept putting it off. Also it has been really hot here in Central Queensland. I found a very helpful video on You Tube. Once I started the reserve single crochet I found it very easy and it didn't take long to go around the blanket. As this was the final row it made a nice twist on the edge and really finished off the blanket. Another one for the grandkids......

Sewing Machine Ornament........
Aren't these little felt Sewing Machine Ornaments just gorgeous. I couldn't resist the temptation to make some. I got the pattern from Betz White. Very easy to make and I used tiny beads instead of doing french knots for the knobs on the machine. Even made the little spool of thread. So happy with how they turned out.

Joining the Squares.........
I have finished the 20 blocks and now I am joining all the squares together. This was my first time at joining squares, as you go. The directions were very easy to follow and you can find them here. After I finish joining the squares I will be putting a border around all of the rug. I feel very pleased with what I have achieved as I am only learning to crochet.

Log Cabin Rug.......
I have a friend who does wonderful crocheting and will help me if I get stuck. The pattern for the Log Cabin Quilt is here and the directions are very easy to follow and the blocks are quick to complete. There are a few threads to stitch in but that doesn't take long either. I am very eager to get this project completed.
