Easter Gift for Laken.....

I thought this was a really cute idea for a Easter Gift for my Great Grandson.  The little shoe pattern I have had since my Grandsons were little but never got around to making. I  am enjoying making all the things that I never had time to do when they were small and I have time to make for Laken.  The  Bandana Bib was  from an Etsy Shop, Oopsidaisi and it was super easy to make.

Bunny Reading Cushion

I decided to join a Sew a Long to get me back into sewing mode.  We were given five designs to pick from and I thought I would do the Bunny for my Great Grandson Laken's first Birthday which is not till December.  I already have a set of Australian story books for him.  So now I have one Birthday out of the way for the year.  These reading cushions are really easy to make it just has a pocket on the front to put the story books.

More Gifts for Laken

My friend Helen digitized  this design for me to put on a bunny rug for Laken.  As usual I didn't get any choice with what sort of bunny rug I could buy.  I was thrilled at the way it turned out as it was a very stretchy fabric.  Thanks Helen, the parents really loved it.  I also made the elephant banner for him.  It is really cute too.  The design came from Big Dreams and was really easy to make In the Hoop. I also added a bit of photoshop with the pink flowers.

Laken's First Christmas

I made this Christmas Bauble for my First Great Grandson Laken.  I bought some Scrapbooking  Alphabets and they were sticky as they came off the paper backing I just stuck them on to the Bauble.  I put his name and date of birth and weight and length.   This will be a lovely memory as they hang it on the Christmas Tree each year. The Bauble also has flashing lights that can be turned on.
