Bags.....

I have had these two bags for quite a while now and thought it was time to do something with them.  I already had the flowers that I had made from Embroidery Garden. They were an In the Hoop Design and you just go around in a circle and stitch the petals on till you get to the centre.  For the Centre I mixed up some tiny black beads with some glossy accents that I use for scrapbooking and it set hard and shinny and it looked really great.  The leaves were also from Embroidery Garden and I used Texture Magic and that makes the leaves shrivel up when heat is applied.

Zebra Bags........

Since we will not be using  plastic bags from the big chain stores after Christmas. I decided to give the females in the family a tote bag  with  this gorgeous Zebra design on it.  It was a free design and I am not sure where I got it from. They look so pretty all done in different colours.   The bags are from Target and  they have a design on the other side.  At first I was going to try and cover the design but then I thought why not just put the design on the other side and that way I am not so limited with what design I can use.. The bags are strong enough to hold groceries. I really love the way this design turned out..  I found the design here but you have to join the site to be able to download.

Baby Boy Sprinkler Set>>>>>>

I made this baby boy sprinkler set  for the baby shower that I went to for my great grandson, who will be born in December.    It was a cute little set to make.    The design is from Embroidery Garden and had very clear instructions.   I made the baby rug. I am only beginner at crocheting  and I was happy with how it turned out.

Tea Pot Coasters....

The Tea pot Coaster are a Birthday present for my friend, Trish.    The design was a freebie from Kreative Kiwi.   They are very easy to stitch out and the instructions are very easy to follow. The cup saucer and plate belonged to my mother and as a little girl growing up it  was my favourite and I always used to look at the pretty things but never allowed to touch.  I was lucky to get to keep that little bit of my mum.

Jogger Bags......

I love making these bags from Disorderly Threads  Although I thought they would be a bit bigger as I bought the biggest design as I now have the large hoop.    I used the shinny vinyl for the shoe and found it very easy to work with.  I made these bags for my two youngest grandsons Thomas and Cooper.   I keep  thinking I will run out of things to make now the boys are getting older but I always manage to find something.  I am also practicing a bit of Photoshop as well using the Sparkler overlays.
