A few months ago we did some paper piecing at my Patchwork Group, I always try to make something out of what we do otherwise it is a waste of material even though we are learning new techniques. I decided to turn my paper piecing into table runners. The colours are a hot pink and lime green. The pattern was a hibiscus and I am not sure where it came from. The runner pattern is a very common one on the internet. I also used iron on pellon on the back of the top of the runner to give it a nice smooth appearance.. I use these colours in my dining area, finally something for me.

Caravan Zippered Bags......
These bags are so cute, mini caravans. Once again the bags are fully lined with no side seams showing. A small bit of hand sewing on the inside bottom of the bag where it is turned inside out. It is all made In the Hoop on the Embroidery Machine. I used the 6 X 10 hoop on my Singer XL 400. The design came from Disorderly Threads. A great little gift for anybody with a caravan.

Christmas Angels.........
I bought this design last year to make for last Christmas. I printed out the pages of instructions and thought it looked really difficult. I usually make a Christmas Gift for my children so I pulled out pattern and decided to have a go at making the Angels.
I don't know why I thought it was so complicated as they where really easy to make. They are an ITH design from Oma's Place and made on the embroidery machine. The Angels are made in three pieces, the head, wings and dress and have to be put together with a glue gun. I bought the dolls hair but there is instructions for the hair as well. They are really gorgeous, the design also has another face design with the eyes closed and also another dress design. I will defiantly be making more very soon.

Texture Magic Flowers.........
Flower Headbands using texture magic. The design is from Embroidery Garden. Texture Magic is used between the layers of fabric and stitched into the flower shapes. After the shape of the flower is cut out you then use the steam from the iron and hold it over the flower shape and the steam makes the fabric crinkle up. It is quite amazing to watch.

All lined with no seams showing with just a bit of hand sewing where the bag is turned inside out. The design is from Disorderly Threads and made In the Hoop on the Embroidery Machine. I used the 6 x 10 hoop.
The design can be made in a 5 x 7 hoop. A great bag for Halloween.

Gorgeous Glitter Butterflies.........
I made these Gorgeous Glitter Butterflies from the glitter sheets that I had for a while. They are made In the Hoop on the Embroidery Machine. The design was from Etsy, Dream Catcher Designs Very quick and easy to make. I put felt on the back and you can fit 6 butterflies in a 5 x 7 hoop. There is a space between the wings where the bobby pin goes, I can see many possibilities for these butterflies.
