My grandson is into pirates at the moment so when I saw this applique I had to make it for him. The applique came from
Applique Corner. I used Heat n Bond Lite on the back of the applique pieces. It stops the applique fabric from getting wrinkles. The heart eye patch was perfect for Valentines Day.
So cute! Last year there was a pillow tutorial online that I followed..it had an embroidered bee. Well my little grandson loved this bee counting book so in the end I made two pillows and he considers them to be his pillows and gets the one off of his little rocking chair to have when we pull out the bee book. Aren't grands wonderful to have! :)
