Birthday Towel......

I didn't know what to get the Pharmacist that I work with for his Birthday.  First of all I thought that I would put his name on the towel but when I saw these letters from Urban Threads I knew that it was the perfect choice. I was so happy with the result that I purchased the whole set.   The designs from Urban Threads always stitch out wonderfully
I belong to a Embroidery Group on Facebook and someone was taking other peoples photos and using them on her web page,.   A lovely lady by the name of Daniela Rodrigues offered to make water marks for the members of the group.  I really love the one she did for me and I would like to send her a big thank you.

State of Origin Game .............

This is a little game (like noughts and crosses and tic tac toe in some countries) for the kids to take in the car when they are bored. It was all made (In the Hoop) on my embroidery machine.  As you can see the green felt is the playing field and I did the footballs also made of felt  in the State of Origin colours (Australia) State versus State.  QLD  is Maroon and NSW is Blue It has it own carry case. I will be making some of these for my grandsons with their favoutite footy teams.
It is hard to find things for boys and I am sure they will love these. Here is the link to Newfound Applique lots of nice things here.

A Great Little Bag...........

This is a  In The Hoop Purse (made entirely in the hoop of an embroidery machine).   It is totally lined and no seams are showing on the inside.  The flower is FSL ( free standing lace)  which is embroidered on a water soluble type fabric and  when you wash the backing away you end up with a flower. You have to use special designs for FSL, otherwise the design will fall to bits when washed. The bag design came from Moose B Stitchin
